Shift:
Nights (3x12-hour shifts) Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform ICU-specific procedures per protocol. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans; document responses and adjust care as needed. Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate tasks within the care team. Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines; communicate changes effectively. Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to prioritize care and ensure patient safety.
