This position offers an engaging 30-hour workweek tailored to the elementary school day, providing valuable healthcare guidance and assistance across an elementary school district in the Windsor, CA area. Your expertise will be essential as you manage district-wide nursing needs. The role emphasizes medication management, diabetes care, and asthma support—helping young learners thrive in a safe educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active California LVN license Experience in pediatric nursing Background in diabetes care and management Excellent communication and collaboration skills Dependable transportation
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver itinerant nursing services throughout the elementary school district Administer and manage student medication, including diabetes and asthma care Maintain thorough, accurate records and support compliance with healthcare protocols Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to promote student health and well-being Provide health education and resources to staff and students when needed Pay for this role ranges from $40-$45 per hour, tailored to your experience.
