What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
•Sign-on Bonus - $5k for OPS 2 years experience
Requirements:
OPS/PACU
: Current California R.N. license. Two (2) years recent experience in perinatal nursing preferred. BLS, PALS, and ACLS completion within three (3) months of employment.
Responsibilities:
OPS/PACU
The staff nurse in the Operating Room functions independently in performing the nursing process through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of safe therapeutic care for all patient's overt and covert needs and/or complications of treatment on his/her shift. The staff nurse manages and coordinates the clinical activities on their patient assignment and may be assigned to coordinate the unit activities during his/her shift.
