Travel assignment, flexible scheduling based on facility needs

Responsibilities:

Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks within NICU Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate specialized care for neonates Continuously monitor and document health status and progress Deliver health education and counseling to patients and families Execute and monitor therapy, treatments, and medication administration Consult, delegate, and support colleagues as appropriate Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed Adhere to both hospital and regulatory documentation guidelines Float to other departments as needed within scope of practice Respond to on-call requirements during shifts

Qualifications:

Active RN license in state of practice (or compact license) Minimum 1 year of recent NICU nursing experience preferred Current BLS and NRP certifications required Strong critical thinking and communication skills Ability to adapt to changing environments and thrive in a team atmosphere
