Working in a busy, cutting-edge 14-suite Operating Room within a large 408-bed hospital, you'll join a dynamic and seasoned perioperative team. This travel position offers the opportunity to enrich your resume, interact with various clinical leaders, and learn multiple approaches to patient-centered care. Daily collaboration with RNs, CSTs, anesthesia professionals, and innovative clinical leaders ensures continual professional growth and exposure to best practices in OR settings.

Schedule:

7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with on-call requirements (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM once per week and a weekend call every six weeks if covering the SSC Ortho service)

Qualifications:

Active RN license and

BLS & ACLS

certifications required At least one year of recent hospital acute care experience

Preferred:

Circulating and scrub experience, Meditech proficiency

Duties:

Provide patient-centered perioperative nursing in a 1:1 ratio for surgical cases such as angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine procedures Communicate effectively with a collaborative multidisciplinary team Adapt to a range of surgical specialties utilizing advanced technology like Stryker video systems Deliver superior patient experiences by ensuring safety, comfort, and advocacy
