Position Summary As a Registered Nurse in the Family Birthing Center, you'll provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care for mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience. Working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, you'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care while promoting positive patient outcomes and an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, patient
  • and family-centered nursing care.
Assess, monitor, and evaluate maternal and newborn conditions. Recognize changes in patient status and respond appropriately. Develop and implement individualized plans of care. Educate patients and families throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members. Utilize electronic health records and clinical technology to support evidence-based practice. Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards. Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Licensure & Certifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado. Compact RN license accepted. Colorado licensure must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire (12 months for new graduate RNs). Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 6 months of hire (12 months for new graduate RNs). Successful completion of a Basic Fetal Monitoring Course within 4 months of hire . Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Outstanding customer service and patient advocacy. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
