Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active RN license in good standing Previous experience in K-12 or school-based nursing highly preferred Demonstrated ability to assess, manage, and respond to a variety of student health needs Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfortable working autonomously and making informed decisions Ability to maintain detailed health records and ensure confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide daily health care to students, including addressing minor injuries or illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and administering medications as prescribed Develop and implement care plans for students with specific health needs in collaboration with families and school personnel Respond promptly to health emergencies and coordinate with external healthcare providers as needed Educate students and staff on health practices, hygiene, immunizations, and wellness initiatives Maintain accurate health documentation and comply with school health policies
