1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother Baby / Post Partum position in Lone Tree, CO, requiring at least 1 year of acute care Mother/Baby experience and current NRP certification. Details Work takes place in a 26-bed Mother Baby unit within a hospital setting Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM

• 7:00 PM Patient ratios are approximately 1:3 to 1:4 Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 7-8 RNs, and 1 Lactation Consultant (LC) EMR system used is Meditech / CPN 13-week contract Requirements Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS and NRP (Advanced 9th Edition, American Academy of Pediatrics) certifications required — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Mother/Baby hospital experience required At least 2 years of total clinical experience required for this HCA facility US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted One professional reference required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Responsibilities include performing circumcisions and educating new parents on newborn safety, nurturing, and health Lactation and newborn transitions experience are preferred Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible Ideal candidates are compassionate, patient-focused, and bring a can-do attitude
