A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

is a nationwide healthcare staffing company that has partnered with Correctional Facilities across your State to help them find AMAZING Nurses. We're looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client's medical facility!
Pay Rate:
$65 / hour RN Details Full Time Schedules Some weekends may be required 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus) Mon-Wed 0600-1800 Thurs-Sat 0600-1800 RN Duties Performing health screenings and physical examinations Triaging, assessing, and treating inmates' chronic, acute, psychological, and medical needs during incarceration Assessing and providing mental health care including patient assessments/evaluations Administering medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as directed by medical staff Serving as first responder in emergencies and crisis situations Performing other general nursing duties such as cardiac monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, diabetic lines, etc. RN Qualifications Graduation from an accredited educational institution Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State in CO.
