A healthcare facility in Montrose, Colorado is seeking Med-Surg Registered Nurses to join its inpatient nursing staff on the night shift. The unit currently has six open positions, offering a stable team environment with a consistent need for experienced bedside nurses. Canadian and Mexican RNs are welcome to apply. The Med-Surg RN manages a diverse patient population with a range of acute care needs within the medical-surgical unit. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population during the night shift Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor evolving patient conditions Develop and implement individualized care plans across a broad range of acute care diagnoses Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe and coordinated patient care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout each shift Uphold patient safety standards and follow established medical-surgical nursing protocols Qualifications Successful passage of the NCLEX required Canadian and Mexican RNs eligible to apply Minimum of one year of med-surg or comparable unit experience required Rural nursing experience preferred Schedule Night shift Six openings currently available Benefits Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 Relocation assistance evaluated on a case-by-case basis Opportunity to earn an additional $5.00 per hour through participation in the Clinical Ladder program
