If so, please read on... We're partnering with an orthopedic focused Ambulatory Surgery Center in the greater Hartford area to help them identify the top RN's for an Operating Room Registered Nurse position. This position offers a flexible schedule with either 5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts, all without on-call responsibilities.

5x8s or 4x10s Day shift
No call, No weekends, No holidays
Lunch provided daily Duties Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment, supplies, and instruments are sterile, functional, and ready for use.

Act as the primary liaison between the surgical team and other healthcare professionals, facilitating effective communication during procedures. Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition throughout surgery, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies. Maintain strict aseptic technique standards to prevent infection and ensure patient safety during all phases of surgery. Assist with patient positioning, documentation of surgical procedures in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), and specimen collection when necessary. Support the surgical team by managing supplies, counting instruments to prevent retained foreign objects, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies. Participate in post-operative care activities including patient transfer, documentation, and discharge planning. Qualifications Active and unencumbered Connecticut nursing license (RN) with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). At least 2 years of circulating experience, including at least 1 year in orthopedics Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care, teamwork, and safety protocols. Pay:

$40.00 - $55.00 per hour
