What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7am-3pmLocation:
Trumbull, CT Qualifications:
Current, valid RN license Current, valid state certification to train mandated medication administration course and/or meet state requirements to become a certified trainer., if applicable. Experience with children and young adults up to 21 with developmental disabilities/dual diagnosis preferred. Thorough knowledge of Nursing care and Med Administration regulations; ability to identify training needs and develop and deliver appropriate training based on needs; ability to conduct Medication and nursing audits; excellent training skills; 5 years' experience working with Medication Administration procedures and regulations preferred 5 years developing and delivering Medication Administration training preferred Must have satisfactory background checks Valid driver's license and safe driving record Employees at Aspire enjoy working with a collaborative and dedicated team that values a culture of belonging and care.
