Description:
Ellington Public Schools is seeking Substitute School Nurses for the 2026-2027school year.
Qualifications:
This position requires an organized, knowledgeable and personable Registered Nurse to work within a collaborative school community to ensure the safety and wellness of students, faculty and staff. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with students. Applicants must be an RN and hold a current CT license. Successful candidate will be required to submit to a state and national criminal history check as well as a DCF review as is required by Connecticut state statute.
Working Conditions:
Substitute nurses will be paid at the rate of $43.60/hour. There are no additional benefits. Assignments are on a per diem basis.
