Registered Nurse FT Night Shift

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Night Shift Team! You will be responsible for 25 skilled nursing residents and supervising 50 residential care residents.

Expected hours:

30-37.5 per week, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate assigned Residents daily with timely reporting of changes in Residents status or condition to Director of nursing or designee. Administer and document prescribed medications/ treatments accurately and timely and incompliance with policies/procedures. Notify Resident physician and responsible party of untoward change of Resident status, with prior reporting (if possible) to the Director of Nursing or Mother Superior. Supervision and follow up with Nursing Assistance Care and assignments.

Qualifications:

At least 3-5 years Long Term Care experience Licensed Registered Nurse (State of Connecticut) is required Previous supervisory & leadership skills Familiarity with medical software: PointClickCare (PCC) and equipment Be able to function independently performing related duties/ tasks with minimum supervision or directions.
