Nursing License or Certification Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide service at a substance abuse clinic in the Middletown, CT area.CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS
- 2nd & 3rd Shifts needed
- $52+/hr
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Provide triage services (evaluate medical and psychiatric status based on admission criteria)
- Determine level of withdrawal management needed
- Administer and monitor individuals' medical needs in accordance with orders by prescribing physicians
- Order, transcribe, and reconcile medications per MD order as needed
- Communicate with pharmacy as needed
- Maintain ongoing relationships with other health care providers to provide consistency of prescribed treatment procedures and techniques
- Maintain medical records and oversee thorough documentation
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- CT RN certification
- Experience working with adults who have challenges with substance abuse
- Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
- Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid
