Healthcare Professionals accepted) Family-NP - A Federally Qualified Health Care Center with multiple sites operating throughout Connecticut and is the largest provider of primary health services in Fairfield County, serving all patients regardless of their income, race, or insurance status is looking for a part or full-time Family Nurse Practitioner|Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant for our Family Medicine clinic. The Family APRN|PA is delegated the authority by their supervising physician to perform physical examinations and order diagnostic testing including laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging tests. Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients to make clinical assessments and implement a plan of treatment. Prescribes and monitors medication and makes changes as needed. The Family Nurse Practitioner Determines appropriate diagnostic procedures as needed and may serve as primary care provider within certain departments and may carry their own patient panels. Educates patient and families regarding medications, health, and illness protection. Provider should have experience taking medical history, preparing and maintaining reports, and developing quality control|assurance standards. Knowledge of nursing theory, practice and medical care to give and evaluate patient care.
