We value the intimate atmosphere of a small town and prioritize building relationships with their patients. With our recent expansion in southern Delaware, we would like your support in Lewes, DE and Millsboro, DE. This is a part-time or full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pre-Operative Evaluation & Optimization. The Nurse Practitioner will conduct pre-operative evaluations, optimize patients for surgery, and coordinate with the surgical team. She/he will also provide patient education, perform physical assessments, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Anticipate 8 - 12 patients per day due to the in-depth patient evaluation to improve surgical outcomes. Document within Epic EHR with a volume of data at your fingertips. Qualifications Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or emergency medicine Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a healthcare team Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification within Delaware Previous experience in orthopaedics or surgical settings is a plus • You will be joining a seasoned Nurse Practitioners who leads our PACE clinic and will be a great resource in addition to our surgeons.
