They are responsible for administering prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring that patients receive the correct dosages at the appropriate times.
Wound Care :
Home Health RNs provide wound care, including dressing changes and monitoring the healing process, to prevent infections and promote recovery.
Patient Education :
Educating patients and their families about managing health conditions, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications is a crucial part of their role. This helps empower patients to take an active role in their care.
Care Coordination :
They collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the specific needs of each patient.
Emotional Support :
Home Health RNs provide emotional support to patients and their families, helping them cope with the challenges of illness and recovery. They often act as a trusted confidant and advocate for their patients. Assistance with
