We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide private duty nursing care for a 3-year-old child diagnosed with Congenital Myasthenia Gravis in the Southeastern Ocala area. The patient has a tracheostomy and G-tube , requiring skilled nursing support and close monitoring.

8:00 PM•8:00 AM Provide individualized 1:1 nursing care in the patient's home Administer medications and treatments as ordered Perform G-tube feedings, care, and management Provide tracheostomy care and monitoring Assess patient condition and respond appropriately to changes Implement the plan of care using sound clinical judgment Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed documentation Follow BrightStar Care policies, procedures, and clinical protocols Adhere to HIPAA requirements and maintain patient confidentiality Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact RN license Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required Pediatric, home health, private duty, long-term care, or clinical experience preferred Experience with tracheostomy and G-tube care preferred Reliable transportation and current auto insurance Ability to pass background screening Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, reach, push, pull, and twist as needed Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Visual and hearing acuity required to safely perform nursing duties Why BrightStar Care?
