Position:
Emergency Room RN (FT/PT/PRN) General Purpose Think quickly, take decisive action, and maintain a strong stomach while assisting doctors and working with emergency medical technicians to aid patients in painful, oftentimes life-threating, trauma. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assess patient's health and take necessary medical action Ability to treat patients in various states of pain, trauma, and tragedy Assist doctors to operate and administer medicines Be able to organize and prioritize treatment Remain calm under pressure of urgent, life-or-death situations Continuously demonstrate patience while delivering medical care under highly stressful circumstances Communicate effectively: with patients that are in pain, scared, or in shock with Family to help keep everyone calm and to help them understand the situation Listen compassionately to patients Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Required:
An associate's degrees in nursing, a bachelor's degree in nursing, or have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program.
