January Key Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) required Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical intervention skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities Current BLS and ACLS certifications Must not reside in or own property within a 50-mile radius of any Lee Health facility

Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional hands-on nursing care to high-acuity patients transitioning from critical to general care Monitor and interpret vital signs, titrate medications, and perform rapid interventions as necessary Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans Provide clear patient and family education about treatment, medications, and post-care needs Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record system
