$22.16 - $22.16 / hour Seeking nursing students who are currently enrolled in an accredited program for registered nurse. Must have completed the Fundamentals/Foundations and will be graduating in 2027. If you are selected for interview you will need to provide a current/updated resume, transcripts from your nursing school, a self-assessment, and a AHA Basic Life Support certification which does not expire within 90 days. Summary Provides patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse. Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental health and social needs, comfort, safety and emergency measures; activities of daily living; personal care needs; nutrition and fluid and elimination needs. Requirements Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/ Preferred and/or Additional Requirements Enrolled as a Nursing Student in an accredited Registered Nurse program or approved Licensed Practical Nurse program. Experience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required/ Preferred and/or Additional Requirements The student must have completed the foundations or fundamentals semester of their nursing program. Student will provide an official transcript to Recruitment. State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required/ Preferred and/or Not Required Certifications/Registration Requirements Certificates/Registrations Required/ Preferred and/or BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)Required Additional Requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider. Other Requirements A competency skills checklist appropriate to the job description will be given to the applicant by Human Resources Recruitment. Applicant should complete this form and bring to manager interview, in order that manager can discuss future orientation needs. Communication, interpersonal, basic computer, and customer service skills are required. Demonstrates a working knowledge of medical terminology.
