Eastern Florida State College is currently seeking applications for the full-time position of Dean of Nursing on the Melbourne Campus in Melbourne, Florida. The Dean of Nursing is responsible for leading, developing and implementing the College's nursing programs. This position providesadministrative oversight and stewarding of annual grants/gifts. The Dean is responsible for establishing and maintaining community outreachwith regional healthcare leaders and organizations. The Dean reports directly to the AVP for Academic Affairs to support and promote thequality of student learning and success. The following minimum qualifications for this position must be met before any applicantwill be considered: Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution in nursing field (Doctorate or equivalentpreferred). Must hold a current/active RN license. A minimum of three-years teaching experience at the collegiatelevel. Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator's license required. A review of Social Media activity will be part of thecandidate evaluation process. This position will require successful fingerprinting and substance screening. The candidate chosenwill be required to pay the associated fees (currently $36.00/$65.15). The fingerprinting and substance screening fees ($36.005/$65.15) arenon-refundable. Minimumphysical qualifications:

Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written form. Ability to occasionallylift, push, pull and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to access, input and retrieve information and/or data from acomputer. Ability to work in an office environment and travel between campuses and clinical sites. The salary iscompetitive and considers credentials and experience .
