Skills and Qualifications:
Active RN license (state or compact) Minimum 1 year recent Operating Room nursing experience BLS required; ACLS preferred Strong proficiency in perioperative nursing principles and sterile techniques Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments
Role Responsibilities:
Prepare, assess, and care for surgical patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively Monitor patients' vitals and respond to emergencies effectively Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals Maintain a sterile operating field and uphold best practices in infection control Accurately document patient information and procedural details Assist with setup, supplies, and patient positioning during a variety of surgical procedures
