- Mease Dunedin, FL A healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team.
This role is responsible for assisting with diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular procedures, delivering high-quality patient care, and supporting positive clinical outcomes in a fast-paced procedural environment. Responsibilities Assist with diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory Independently support diagnostic and interventional procedures with minimal supervision Assess, monitor, and provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Monitor patient responses and promptly identify and respond to changes in condition Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe and effective patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes Adhere to evidence-based practices and promote clinical excellence Participate in on-call coverage and support departmental operations as needed Demonstrate professional accountability and commitment to quality and patient safety Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Minimum of one year of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, Emergency Department, or Critical Care setting; or two years of Telemetry or Progressive Care experience Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment Benefits Competitive compensation Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Retirement savings plan with employer contributions Tuition assistance and professional development opportunities Employee wellness and discount programs Career growth and advancement opportunities How to Apply Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their resume to: Please complete the online application to be considered.
