Role:

As the Director of MDS, you will be responsible for administering patient assessments and overseeing the assessment process, setting assessment schedules, and ensuring that assessments are done accurately and in a timely manner. You will coordinate the care plan according to regulatory requirements and ensure that resources are made available to patients and that patient care is delivered effectively and to a satisfactory standard. Additionally, you will create the schedule for all Medicare and Medicaid patients, start Medicare coverage for newly qualified patients or send out denial letters, and stay up-to-date on changes in Medicare coverage and help determine the necessary documents for reimbursement.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in

Nursing Experience:

Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in an LTC setting; prior experience as an MDS Director or Coordinator is preferred

Skills:

Proficiency in MDS 3.0 Demonstrating knowledge of state and federal regulations Registered Nurse with current, active license in the state employed

Compensation:

$40 - $46
