Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel EP RN to deliver expert, patient-centered care in electrophysiology labs nationwide. In this role, you'll support complex EP procedures, monitor patients, administer medications, and assist physicians during studies and interventions. You'll complete thorough assessments, documentation, and patient education while adapting quickly to new hospital settings. Fusion Medical Staffing offers a collaborative culture built on transparency, accountability, and teamwork, with strong professional development and growth opportunities as you make a meaningful impact on cardiac patient care across the U.S. Responsibilities Provide specialized nursing care to electrophysiology (EP) patients during diagnostic and interventional procedures Monitor patients' hemodynamic status, sedation, and rhythm changes; respond to emergencies promptly Administer medications, operate EP lab equipment, and assist physicians with mapping and ablation Perform pre procedure assessments and post procedure recovery, education, and discharge teaching Document care in accordance with facility and regulatory standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in various travel assignments Adapt quickly to new EP lab environments, workflows, and EMR systems Maintain strict infection control and patient safety protocols Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to Fusion Medical Staffing policies Required Skills Electrophysiology (EP) nursing Cardiac rhythm interpretation (ECG/telemetry) Hemodynamic monitoring Sedation management and monitoring EP lab equipment operation (mapping/ablations/3 D systems) Vascular access and sheath management Acute care and emergency response (ACLS-level) Medication administration for cardiac/antiarrhythmic agents Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Infection control and patient safety protocols
