Responsibilities Provide overnight, one-on-one nursing care tailored to the specific needs of the client. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and assess the client's condition throughout the night, noting any changes or concerns. Assist with personal care tasks, including hygiene, mobility support, and comfort measures. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any observations during shifts. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times in the home environment. Be comfortable working in a setting that includes large dogs, ensuring safety for both the client and pets. Requirements Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Prior experience in patient care, preferably with overnight or long-term care settings. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision. Comfortable providing personal and skilled nursing care in a home environment. Must be okay with large dogs present in the home setting. Excellent observational skills to monitor patient status overnight. Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality care.
