We are looking for exceptional nurses to provide clinical radiation oncology care in an ambulatory setting. We are recognized as an industry leader delivering world-class care to a patient population that comes from all over the world. 98.7% of our patients surveyed say they would recommend our services to others. Our leadership team provides support for oncology-specific certifications, and we are involved in many clinical trials. We are seeking RN candidates with compassion and the willingness to learn and grow with our team in this academic environment. Individuals will be responsible for the ongoing assessment of assigned patients and, in conjunction with other health care providers, will assist in developing a comprehensive plan of care for patients. RN Case Managers will work closely with physicians on a day-to-day basis and collaborate with other members of the health care team to insure the patient's needs are met in a timely fashion. Positions are primarily daytime hours. Qualified candidates should have excellent communication and critical thinking skills along with self-initiative and above-average organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with a diverse staff and patient population is required. Must possess solid clinical assessment skills and have ability to develop, implement, evaluate and modify a plan of care. Prior nursing experience in ambulatory health care, oncology and case management strongly preferred. Associate's degree or diploma in nursing required; BSN preferred. Must have current, valid Florida RN license in good standing and be certified in BLS. Why UFHPTI?
