A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description

Beach House Center for Recovery is a well-established treatment facility in Palm Beach County that offers a full continuum of care to adults struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our goal is to give patients the freedom they have been waiting for by placing an emphasis on the healing power of love and connection. We are currently looking for a Nurse, with excellent communication skills, to add to our Nursing Team. •Detox experience strongly preferred•
Responsibilities Include:
Administer prescribed medication. Assess and determine the individual needs of residents upon admission and during monitoring. Ability to think critically and make recommendations for patient's medical and nursing care. Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team. Provide emotional support to patients struggling acute withdrawals/post-acute withdrawals.
Job Type:
Full-time 3-12 Hour Shifts/Week (7:00 AM-7:30 PM) FL RN or LPN License required
