Stay close to home and build your own schedule Requirements Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing. Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications. Minimum of 1 year inpatient experience as a NICU RN (most recent experience within the last year). APRNs who apply must have recent bedside experience under RN scope of practice. Strong critical thinking skills as well as the ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care. Strong familiarity with managing ventilators, managing CPAP/BIPAP and incubators, assisting during fetal intubation, and midline and central line placement.
