A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

13 weeks

Nights (7p-7a)

Requirements:
2 yrs prior travel, L&D postpartum, nursery, Mother/Baby. Flexible to float to other units as facility needs apply.
ACLS, BLS, NRP.
•PALS required as well, but can be procured within 30 days of start if needed. AWHONN preferred, can be completed onsite. Please do not submit your candidate unless you have already reviewed potential housing/housing costs with your traveler. Housing within 50mi of facility must be secured prior to acceptance and address provided.

AHCA required for FL placements The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. #LDNurse1 Why TalentBurst?
