Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab RN to deliver high-quality cardiac care across partner facilities nationwide. In this role, you'll assist with diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures, monitor hemodynamics, manage sedation, and support patients pre- and post-procedure. You'll collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams while adapting quickly to new environments. Responsibilities Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures Monitor hemodynamics, vital signs, and patient status throughout procedures Administer and manage IV medications, drips, and conscious sedation per protocols Maintain strict sterile technique and radiation safety standards in the lab Prepare patients pre-procedure and provide post-procedure recovery care and education Accurately document care, assessments, and procedures in the EHRCollaborate with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff to coordinate workflow Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code and rapid response situations Adapt quickly to varying facility protocols and equipment as a travel RNSupport a culture of transparency, teamwork, and high-quality patient care Required Skills Cardiac catheterization procedures Hemodynamic monitoring Telemetry and rhythm interpretation Conscious sedation management Radiation safety protocols Sterile technique and scrub skills Electronic health records (EHR) IV medication and drips management Patient assessment and triage Emergency response in cath lab
