Job Description

Registered Nurse Santa Fe Surgery Center, a US Eye Company, provides best-in-class technologies, amenities, and comfort. Centrally located to serve The Villages, Lady Lake, and the surrounding areas, our ultra-modern 7,000 sq ft center offers a spacious waiting area and two surgical suites equipped for procedures requiring general anesthesia, as well as an array of outpatient surgeries. We offer mini and full-size C-Arm mobile imaging units for advanced computer-assisted fluoroscopic imaging for superior guidance before and during surgical and orthopedic procedures. Our prep/recovery rooms provide privacy and relaxation pre- and post-procedure.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Santa Fe Surgery Center in Lady Lake, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a surgical setting. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Essential Job Functions:
Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records Monitoring and recording patient vital signs Assisting with surgical procedures as needed Educating patients and their families on post-operative care Ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care Education and Experience Valid RN license in the state of Florida Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a surgical setting BLS and ACLS certification Circulating experience, a plus
