Job Description Summary:
Mount Sinai Medical Center's Award Winning Cancer Center is seeking a Hematology Oncologist to join our distinguished team. We provide state-of-the-art treatment for patients with cancer, incorporating the latest research and treatment options to deliver individualized care to patients. In an effort to enhance the safety and effectiveness of each patient's treatment, the doctors at Mount Sinai participate in ongoing multidisciplinary system specific conferences. We carefully monitor each patient during ongoing treatments, and meet weekly with a multidisciplinary team of other doctors to review cases. Our patients have the opportunity to participate in leading cancer trials, allowing them access to promising advanced treatments years before they are FDA approved. Qualifications The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered multidisciplinary oncology care. BE/BC with excellent clinical training Experience in general oncology including hematology and solid tumors Training in benign hematology is also a preference Adaptable colleague interested in building the practice and becoming active in the community Those with strong interest in clinical research and medical education are encouraged to apply
