Epic Full Job Description Job Description:

MyCardiologist is a de novo cardiovascular ambulatory surgery center and office-based lab seeking a dedicated nurse to join our team. No nights, weekends, or call This role involves caring for the patient undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular catheterization procedures including pacemaker and internal defibrillator implants in the outpatient setting. The scope of care includes making pre-procedure phone calls, pre-procedure teaching, preparing the patient for the procedure, starting IVs, reviewing patient medical history, performing medication reconciliation, obtaining informed consent, sheath removal, post-procedure care including patient hemodynamic monitoring, access site assessment, patient teaching, and making follow-up calls to patients who recently underwent a procedure. Additional duties include those related to regulatory and accreditation compliance such as quality improvement, medication management, and emergency preparedness.

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse licensed in the State of FL
• ACLS and BLS within 90 days of hire
• PACU or ICU experience (1 year)

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASC experience in a AAAHC facility (1 year)
• Cardiac cath lab experience (1 year) Job type: Full time
