Administer medications, injections, IV therapies, and other treatments following strict medical protocols and safety standards. Monitor patient progress and document clinical findings accurately using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Respond swiftly to medical emergencies with appropriate interventions such as CPR or AED operation, ensuring patient safety at all times. Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, wound care, and disease prevention strategies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care delivery. Ensure compliance with all health regulations and nursing policies while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to State Nursing Practice Acts. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) through the State Board of Nursing with current registration. Proven experience in diverse clinical settings such as hospital medicine, emergency rooms, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or medical-surgical units. Demonstrated expertise in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, IV insertion, venipuncture, and medical documentation. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, infectious disease care, trauma response (Level I & II trauma center experience preferred), and emergency medicine protocols. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping; experience with inpatient or outpatient clinical environments is highly valued. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety procedures. Excellent communication skills for parent education, patient teaching, and interprofessional collaboration. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
