As a travel Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room, you'll have the unique chance to learn from multidisciplinary teams, experience innovative workplace practices, and expand your professional repertoire with exposure to a variety of surgical specialties. Schedule:
Days:
6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. On-call requirements (exact shift days/times may vary with patient volume)
Qualifications:
Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years' recent OR Circulator experience ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification required Strong proficiency in Orthopedics, Neurology, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology Cerner EMR experience required CNOR certification preferred Willingness to float between campuses as needed
Responsibilities:
Deliver patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, and surgical department protocols Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams Anticipate, plan, and coordinate patient care in the operating room Ensure availability of supplies, maintain case timeliness, and update physician preference cards Communicate with families and keep them informed Scrub in and assist with a diverse array of surgical procedures Supervise and guide other personnel in the perioperative environment
