Job Summary South Beach Detox is an 36 bed inpatient substance abuse and mental health facility. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team for the night shift, providing exceptional patient care across a variety of clinical settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients during overnight hours. As a Night Shift Nurse, you will play a vital role in maintaining patient safety, managing patients needs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless healthcare delivery. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, H&P evaluations, and medical history reviews during overnight shifts. Administer medications, injections, and medical therapies following strict protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations. Monitor patients closely using electronic health record (EHR) systems and electronic medical records (EMR) to document care accurately and efficiently. Respond swiftly to medical and psychiatric emergencies by implementing

operation, first aid procedures, and emergency response protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, medication records, and incident reports in accordance with HIPAA regulations and nursing policy standards. Collaborate with physicians, and interprofessional teams to coordinate patient care plans for diverse populations such as dual diagnosis and substance abuse Ensure compliance with state Nursing Practice Acts and hospital policies related to infection control, patient confidentiality, and safety standards. Requirements Valid license from the State Board of Nursing with current registration in good standing. Proven nursing experience Demonstrated proficiency in medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures relevant to inpatient setting Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient record management. Strong understanding of health regulations compliance including HIPAA standards for maintaining patient confidentiality. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while caring for patients with diverse needs across various clinical environments Excellent communication skills and effective team collaboration during high-pressure situations.
