This role oversees all nursing operations, ensuring resident-first, high-quality care and full regulatory compliance. The Director manages staffing, budgets, and quality initiatives; mentors and develops nursing teams; and partners with physicians, residents, and families on care plans. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversight for nursing services within the senior living community Ensure high-quality, resident-centered clinical care and regulatory compliance Supervise, coach, and schedule nursing staff across assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families to coordinate care plans Manage clinical budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation to support safe, efficient operations Lead training, competency development, and performance evaluations for nursing team members Monitor clinical outcomes, infection control, and risk management, and implement corrective actions Support survey readiness and respond to state, federal, and accrediting body inspections Promote a resident-first, mission-driven culture aligned with Lifespace Communities' values Required Skills Nursing leadership and team management Clinical operations management Long-term care and senior living regulations Care planning and interdisciplinary coordination Quality improvement and performance metrics Budgeting and staffing/resource planning Electronic health records (EHR) proficiency Infection prevention and control practices Survey readiness and regulatory compliance response Staff education, coaching, and performance management
