Registered Nurse Loving Angels PPEC-W North Palm Beach, FL Job Details Permanent | Full-time $35 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Patient monitoring RN License English Patient interaction Home health Full Job Description Overview Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric PPEC - Bilingual English/Spanish We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) team in Palm Beach County. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to medically complex children in a safe, nurturing, and child-centered environment. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients according to each child's plan of care and physician orders. Perform nursing assessments and monitor vital signs and changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Provide G-tube/feeding tube care and enteral feedings. Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, oxygen therapy, and respiratory monitoring when applicable. Monitor children with complex medical conditions, seizure disorders, respiratory conditions, and developmental disabilities. Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation. Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition. Follow infection-control, medication-safety, HIPAA, and PPEC policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, caregivers, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Provide a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for children attending the PPEC. Qualifications Current and unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license. Pediatric nursing experience preferred. PPEC, pediatric home health, PICU, NICU, or experience with medically complex children preferred. Experience with G-tubes, tracheostomies, suctioning, oxygen, seizure precautions, and enteral feeding preferred. Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. Reliable, professional, compassionate, and comfortable working with children with special healthcare needs.
