Monday-Friday (School Shift): 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM OR Saturday & Sunday (Overnight): 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Join BrightStar Care BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a pediatric client in DeLand, FL. This position offers the opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with a child while providing high-quality, individualized care in the home, at school, and within the community. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care throughout the assigned shift. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Perform G-tube (feeding tube) care and feedings. Monitor and respond appropriately to seizure activity. Monitor the client's condition and document all care provided. Communicate effectively with the family, physician, and clinical team. Monday-Friday School Shift Responsibilities Assist the client with the morning routine and prepare for school. Ride the school bus with the client to and from school. Accompany the client throughout the school day, providing continuous skilled nursing care. Collaborate with school personnel while advocating for the client's healthcare needs. Return home with the client after school and continue care until the end of the shift. Experience with these Diagnosis Autism Spectrum Disorder Cerebral Palsy Seizure Disorder G-Tube (Feeding Tube) Qualifications Current Florida RN or LPN license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. Pediatric nursing experience preferred. Experience with G-tube care and seizure management is preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills. Pay:
