Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Lab team for staging (Pre-Post care) or Circulator/procedural RN. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on cardiac procedures and interventions. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare. Duties Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after catheterization procedures. Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed. Perform IV insertion and manage intravenous therapy. Assist in the preparation of patients for catheterization procedures, Conduct physical examinations and document patient history accurately. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide education to patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and post-care instructions. Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with safety protocols in the catheterization lab. Engage in critical care management for patients experiencing complications during procedures. Utilize ECW and Merge software for documentation and patient management. Perform pre procedure calls to patients to reviuew history prior to procedure. Skills Candidates should possess the following skills: Proficiency in ECW and Merge for electronic health record system a plus. Strong background in critical care nursing. Expertise in IV insertion techniques. Knowledge of tube feeding protocols. Familiarity with botulinum toxin treatment administration. Ability to perform inhalation therapies as needed. Competence in conducting thorough physical examinations. Experience working in an ICU/ED setting or similar high-acuity environment. Understanding of behavioral health considerations in patient care. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications are a plus. $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
