The Care Center RN provides compassionate hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, coordinating care, managing symptoms, providing education and support, and overseeing LPNs and aides.
Schedule:

What you'll
Do:
is responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family needs and for providing preventive and supportive care to the terminally ill patient/family unit. utilizes assessment, intervention and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life to the patient/family unit. provides oversight and supervision of the LPN and/or aide for the delivery of patient care in the GIP environment. What You'll Need Position Requirements minimum of 1 year recent bedside nursing Valid Florida license as a Registered Nurse Valid Florida State Driver's License Minimum of 1 year of current active nursing experience; with experience in caring for terminally ill patients or those with life threatening illnesses preferred; prefer one (1) year experience in an acute or post acute care setting.
