Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize patient needs and nursing care based on these assessments. Administer prescribed medications, monitor vital signs, and promptly communicate any changes in patient's condition to appropriate healthcare team members. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Educate patients and families on illness and injury prevention and post-treatment care. Support patient safety initiatives and adhere to infection control policies.
