Responsibilities Provide direct medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients on an as-needed (PRN) basis Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in the EHRAdminister medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data, and promptly report changes to providers Develop, update, and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety, and quality standards Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate seamless care Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes on the med-surg unit Participate in ongoing professional development and follow HCA Healthcare policies and procedures.
