This role plays a critical part in developing, supporting, and advancing the clinical practice of our ICU nurses through education, coaching, and evidence‑based practice.
Your role within the team:
Assess, develop, and lead educational programs that strengthen clinical competence and professional growth for ICU team members Design and oversee unit‑specific education based on identified learning needs and quality initiatives Support clinical orientation and ongoing education for new and existing ICU nurses Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for evidence‑based practice and clinical education Partner with clinical leaders and interdisciplinary teams to support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Provide consultation and guidance on education requirements, competencies, and available learning resources Act as a positive change agent by supporting practice improvement, communication, and engagement Perform Registered Nurse functions and other duties as assigned, as needed This role follows the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) Scope and Standards of Practice and promotes clinical excellence through evidence‑based care.
Qualifications:
Required:
BSN with 3 years of clinical experience OR Bachelor's degree in a healthcare‑related field with 4 years of nursing education experience
Preferred:
Professional nursing or education certification ANPD certification Experience supporting education in a critical care or ICU setting
