This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive clinical outcomes in a fast-paced critical care environment. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for critically ill patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit Monitor, document, and communicate patient assessments, vital signs, and changes in condition Identify and respond promptly to medical emergencies and changes in patient status Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and organizational policies Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other healthcare team members Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care Coordinate discharge planning and referrals to support continuity of care Educate patients and families by communicating medical information in a clear and compassionate manner Serve as a professional role model and support the development of nursing team members Demonstrate professional accountability and participate in ongoing learning and development initiatives Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, or a nationally recognized nursing specialty certification required within the designated timeframe Minimum of two years of Registered Nurse experience in an Intensive Care Unit within an acute care setting Critical care nursing certification preferred Strong clinical assessment, communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced critical care environment Benefits Competitive compensation Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and parental leave Retirement savings plan with employer contributions Tuition assistance and professional development opportunities Employee assistance and wellness programs Pet insurance and additional employee discount programs Career growth and advancement opportunities How to Apply Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their resume to: Please complete the online application to be considered.
