Our practice is staffed by a multidisciplinary team dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of infants, children, and adolescents through comprehensive and compassionate care.Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - with a focus in Pediatrics to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. This role requires clinical expertise, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering evidence-based, culturally competent care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and developmental screenings
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric health conditions
- Prescribe medications and initiate appropriate treatment plans
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team-based care models
- Adhere to all organizational, state, and federal healthcare regulations
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- National certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Current, unrestricted Florida RN and APRN licensure
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Previous clinical experience in pediatric care (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
