What they do

A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Responsibilities:
Perform physical examinations and nonsurgical procedures (such as lasers and IVs). Discuss expected patient outcomes, prepare treatment plans, and manage patients with facial aesthetic needs Some administrative duties such as following up with patients, charting, and meticulous documentation of patient care Leveraging strong organization, communication, and customer service skills with a passion for providing high-quality patient care Working both as a collaborative team member and independently as a solo provider
Requirements:
Licensure & Certifications:
Board-certified RN Active and in good standing state (that this role is listed in) license Active BLS or ACLS certification
Clinical Competencies:
Ability to safely administer treatments in accordance with state regulations and clinical protocols Knowledge of infection prevention, aseptic technique, and sharps safety Ability to recognize and respond to adverse events and complications associated with aesthetic treatments Knowledge of skin layers and tissue planes Recognition and management of allergic reactions Emergency preparedness and protocol adherence Understanding of contraindications for aesthetic treatments Compliance & Documentation Ability to maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and company compliance standards Commitment to patient safety, informed consent, and ethical clinical practice
Physical Requirements :
Ability to perform repetitive fine motor movements with hands and fingers Ability to safely handle needles, sharps, and medical supplies Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift standard medical aesthetic equipment and inventory
